Rules of the road
We are not a riding school or a daycare; we are a riding club. You are responsible for yourself. The Tail gunner will never leave anyone alone or behind; if there is a break down, the TG stop for them. The group will stop where it's safe and wait for them and get in contact with them.
Group Riding
In group riding we will ride in Staggered Formation unless signaled otherwise. Safety always comes first. Unsafe riding in groups will not be tolerated.
DON'T ride ahead of the Road Captain.
Pay attention to your Road Captain and hand signals. Remember to pass the signal back to the riders behind you.. If someone leaves the group, don't follow them, continue to follow your Road Captain.
Hand Signals
Left Arm straight out - LEFT TURN
Left Arm bent up at elbow - RIGHT TURN
Left Arm down palm backward - SUDDEN STOP
Left hand dribbling a "basket ball" - SLOWING / WATCH FOR SLOWING
Hand over head with index finger - SINGLE FILE
Hand over head with two fingers (hang loose) - STAGGERED FORMATION
Hand makes a fist - CLOSE UP / TIGHTEN THE FORMATION
Hand makes flashing sign - TURN YOUR BLINKER OFF DUMBASS
Right foot out - WATCH FOR DEBRIS ON RIGHT
Left foot out - WATCH FOR DEBRIS ON LEFT
